Founder’s Story

After years of working in microbiology and biotechnology, and witnessing the growing role of AI in healthcare and research, I realized one truth, science alone isn’t enough. The future of discovery lies in combining biological knowledge with data and code.

In my early career as a microbiologist, I often saw valuable data sitting unused, biological insights that could be amplified by computation, and research projects that had the potential to scale but didn’t, simply because of a gap in technical skills.

While studying and conducting research in the UK, I observed how artificial intelligence, data science, and bioinformatics were transforming diagnostics, drug discovery, and genomics. Yet, many scientists with strong biological backgrounds struggled to bridge into computational fields. I saw this not as a challenge, but as an opportunity to make a difference.

In 2025, I founded CelltoCode to address this opportunity — a platform designed to blend life sciences with data science and AI.

Early Career — Lab Experience

Hands-on microbiology and experimental techniques working in the field.

Master’s (UK)

Deepened knowledge in biotechnology; observed the role of computation in biology.

2025 — Founded CelltoCode

Platform launched to blend open research, tutorials, and reproducible code.

Goal: to empower students, researchers, and innovators to not only understand biology — but to code biology.
